FAQ

What is in the Aniimo pre-order packs?
The $9.9 Advanced Edition includes an exclusive in-game accessory plus the in-game Premium Pass; the $19.99 Collector's Edition includes an exclusive accessory plus the in-game Collector's Pass. Accessories are platform-exclusive: Fluffy Friend on PlayStation, Doggo Dude on Xbox. Prices vary by region.
Can you still buy the Aniimo pre-order packs?
Not as of October 27, 2026 — neither the PlayStation nor the Xbox store lists the packs anymore; both storefronts now show post-launch items instead. Watch official channels in case the bundles return.
How do you claim Aniimo pre-order items?
Items go to the in-game mailbox of the first character created on the console account that purchased the pack. Log in on that console, claim from in-game mail, and activate from your inventory.
Can you use pre-order items on other platforms?
Yes, after account linking — claimed accessories and items also work on other platforms within the same server.
Do you need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass for pre-order packs?
No. The official FAQ of September 14, 2026 states no subscription is needed to purchase and claim the packs.
Is a pre-order pack the same as pre-registration?
No. Pre-registration was free and its milestone rewards go to every pre-registered player; pre-order packs are paid console bundles with accessories and pass tiers.

Ahead of the September 16, 2026 launch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox players could pre-order one of two packs — pre-orders opened August 13, 2026 at 5:00 (UTC+8). Per the official pre-download announcement of September 14, 2026:

Pack Price Contents
Advanced Edition $9.9 Exclusive in-game accessory + the in-game Premium Pass
Collector’s Edition $19.99 Exclusive in-game accessory + the in-game Collector’s Pass

The accessories are platform-exclusive: Fluffy Friend comes only with PlayStation pre-orders, Doggo Dude only with Xbox pre-orders. The announcement notes that prices vary by region and cannot be converted exactly. When re-checked on October 27, 2026, neither official store page listed the packs anymore — the PlayStation store’s add-on list had moved on to post-launch items (Lumin Crystal currency packs and a PlayStation Plus pack), and the Xbox store showed only the free base game. Whether the bundles return later is up to each storefront and official channels.

These paid bundles are separate from the free pre-registration rewards — that campaign’s milestone items go to every pre-registered player, no purchase needed. Buying a pack was also the only way to pre-download the game on console ahead of launch; the release date page has the full pre-download breakdown.

Compiled from the official pre-download announcement (September 14, 2026). The claim flow follows the official FAQ and has not been independently re-verified in the live game yet — last source check: October 27, 2026.

How do you claim pre-order pack items?

Pack contents are sent to the in-game mailbox of the first character created on the console account that bought the pack. The official FAQ’s flow: download and log in on the console platform where you made the purchase, claim the items from in-game mail, then use or activate them from your inventory.

Two official notes shape what the pass content does. The Companion Handbook is an in-game item — using it from your inventory activates the corresponding tier of the current Companion Handbook, effective until the current version ends — and its exclusive Prismana Aniimo egg changes with each version (each Handbook features a different Prismana Aniimo, so what you get depends on the version in which you redeem it).

The Handbook itself has a live event under way: the official patch notes of October 17, 2026 (v1.0.3743667) announce a limited-time EXP Boost event for the Companion Handbook — while the Handbook is below level 70, EXP gained receives an additional multiplier boost. It started October 19, 2026 at 04:00 per server (Aniimo-Europe 04:00 UTC+0, Aniimo-Americas 04:00 UTC-4, Aniimo-Apac 04:00 UTC+8); the notice states neither an end date nor the multiplier’s exact value.

Claimed items are not locked to the console: once your accounts are linked, claimed accessories and items also work on other platforms within the same server. The one-time linking popup is easy to miss — the crossplay guide explains the full Aniimo Pass flow.

Can you buy both packs or stack the passes?

Yes to both, with rules. Buying multiple packs grants the corresponding number of accessories and Battle Pass redemption cards — and Aniimo can wear up to 2 accessories, player characters 1. But only one paid Battle Pass tier (Advanced or Collector’s) can be active per period: leftover redemption items cannot be used that period, carry over to future versions, and never expire. Upgrading from an active Advanced to the Collector’s Edition within the same period requires a paid upgrade — you cannot activate a separate Collector’s pass on top. The official FAQ recommends using held redemption items first to avoid duplicate purchases.

Bought packs on both PlayStation and Xbox? Link both console accounts to the same Aniimo Pass and claim both packs from your in-game mailbox. One known Xbox quirk from the FAQ: if both packs show up as one after launch, restart the game and the second arrives.

Do you need PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass?

No. The official FAQ confirms neither subscription is needed to purchase and claim pre-order packs. Whether general online play on consoles requires a subscription is not confirmed in official channels yet (last checked October 27, 2026) — the crossplay page tracks it. Related and newly verified: Xbox store data marks Aniimo itself as included with Xbox Game Pass (accessed October 27, 2026) — a membership perk on Xbox, not a play requirement.
