FAQ
How do I unlock Homeland in Aniimo?
How do I automate farming?
What is Homeland?
Homeland is your personal base in the open world. You park your RV at a campsite, plant crops, build decorations, and assign Aniimo workers to automate your farm.
Verified against launch-day sources (September 16–17, 2026): the official dev letter first, community-compiled live data (Game8, AniimoVerse, aniimoguide) labeled as such. This page lists its last-verified date.
What the launch build changes (official)
The official dev letter of September 3, 2026 confirms Homeland grows substantially for launch:
| Change | Letter wording (paraphrased) |
|---|---|
| Bigger map + housing | The Home expands into a multi-area map with house building and a large selection of new furniture |
| Interactive furniture | New interactive pieces, some placeable and usable in the open world |
| Furniture sharing | Furniture groups can be shared via codes — these are furniture share codes, NOT redeem codes |
| RV tuning | RV upgrade times adjusted to ease mid-game resource shortages |
| Orders | Order refresh logic improved, more order variety |
| Home Aniimo | New idle AI, improved work logic, and a petting interaction |
| Economy | Unused furniture sells back at a discount via the Co-op Store |
| RV dispatches | Dispatches now have a chance to produce Aniimo eggs carrying the Prismana trait |
| Season events | Home season events with season-exclusive furniture and formulas |
| Social | Till the soil at another Pathfinder’s Home to earn a share of their harvest |
A fuller summary of the letter lives in the beta-to-launch changes guide.
How to Unlock
- Reach account level 20
- Start the “Prologue: The Wondrous RV” quest (Game8’s summary calls it the Welcome Home mission)
- Meet Fannie and restore power to your RV with Emberpup
- Register the RV at a Park Board — your first park is free
- Step through the RV portal into your Homeland
Currencies
- Home Coins — the Homeland currency for land and production upgrades; earned by selling produce
- Bud Tickets — spent on outdoor decorations
The Farming Loop
- Plant crops on Farmland blocks
- Water your crops (or assign Water-job Aniimo)
- Wait for crops to grow — timers keep running while you’re away
- Harvest when ready
- Sell at the Home Co-op Store for Home Coins
- Reinvest in upgrades and new seeds from the Homeland Shop
Example economics (community-compiled): 1 wheat seed grows into 5 wheat in 4 minutes; quick formulas turn 1 seed into 42 wheat in 20 minutes.
Crops
Seeds come from the Homeland Shop, and crops unlock with Farmland level — not RV level (community-compiled launch data): wheat is available from Farmland Lv1, scaling up to agave and cranberry around Lv7. The field-crop roster includes wheat, cotton, potato, rice, sugarcane, soybean, strawberry, agave, lavender, rose, ginseng, grapes, and pumpkin, plus trees and woodland products.
RV Upgrades
Your RV is the center of your Homeland. The verified milestones (community-compiled):
| Milestone | What it unlocks |
|---|---|
| RV Level 2 | Aniimo workers (8 slots), Storage Unit, Kitchen Module — automation begins |
| RV Level 9 | Worker capacity grows to 30 |
| RV Level 10 | Season-event gating (the Harvest Moon Festival) |
Reaching RV Level 2 itself requires completing “The Wondrous RV” quest and placing four farmland plots. Beyond that, RV levels are gated behind Pathfinder titles, and upgrade costs climb steeply. Note: beta data shows 10 RV levels, while one guide reports 20 — the cap is not yet confirmed, and this page won’t print a max until it is.
Aniimo Workers (Automation)
From RV Level 2, assign Aniimo workers to jobs. The system has 13 jobs: nine element jobs plus four general jobs (community-compiled launch data). Element-to-task matching:
| Element | Task |
|---|---|
| Earth | Reclaiming land, mining resources |
| Grass | Planting seeds, gathering resources |
| Water | Fetching water, watering plants, brewing |
| Dark | Harvesting crops, cutting plants, pickling, drying |
Plus the general jobs — Carry (hauling finished products to storage), Artisanship, Leisure, and Perfumery. Three rules the launch guides agree on:
- Workers need feeding — run out of food and they stop working
- Home workers are off your battle roster — Aniimo assigned to Homeland can’t fight for you at the same time
- Job levels 1–4 — higher job levels mean faster work
Every species and its element is indexed in the All Aniimo database.
Key Facilities
| Facility | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Hatchinator | Hatch Aniimo eggs |
| Homeland Warehouse | Main storage — opens from anywhere inside Homeland |
| Home Co-op Store | Sells your produce for Home Coins |
| Homeland Shop | Seeds, Aniimo food, and farming supplies |
| Order Robot (BINI #2333) | Daily delivery orders for bonus coins — up to 12 slots on a developed account |
| Storage Unit | Lets Carry workers move stacked facility output into Home storage |
Decorations
Community databases track over 1,000 decoration pieces (including 60 legendary items like the Iris Fountain and Pawprint Swing). Decorations are cosmetic and comfort value — no stat buffs are documented anywhere, so ignore any guide promising +3% damage fountains. What is official: furniture groups can be shared via codes, unused furniture sells back at a discount through the Co-op Store, and Home season events hand out season-exclusive furniture and formulas.
RV Parks (Social Hubs)
Community maps track four named RV Parks — A1 Sea of Flowers, A2 Nimbus Fields, A3 Echoback Landing, A4 Driftwise Meadow — with six caravan slots each; Game8’s map counter suggests a fifth, so the total is not yet confirmed. At a park you can:
- Visit other players’ Homelands
- Trade resources
- Show off your decorations
- Meet fellow Pathfinders
Friends on different platforms? Crossplay and cross-progression covers how shared worlds work.
Farming Optimization
- Focus on one crop type — Specialization beats variety early
- Automate water first — Manual watering is the most tedious chore
- Feed your workers — An angry worker is a stopped worker
- Check Daily Orders — Bonus coins for crops you already grow
- Visit RV Parks — Learn from other players’ setups
